Review of Real Secrets Of Life
There is a constant quest to understand the make-up of humanity and the reason homo-sapiens behave and act the way they do. Krishna Jagarnath in this book, Real Secrets of Life! presents a spiritual explanation to the existence of man and the factors that influence and affect the human race. Based primarily on Hinduism, the book details explicitly the divine nature of man while exploring some of the issues that affect humanity. The first part of the book deals with the nature of man emphasizing attitudes and traits that all men could imbibe to live a happy and fulfilled life. The second part of the book explores eating habits and dieting that would guarantee a sustained healthy life free of diseases and ailments. The third part looks at how to achieve heightened spiritual awareness. It also talks about how to use this awareness to chart a successful course for one's life. The book also discusses parenting and offers both physical and spiritual tips that could help one conceive and raise exemplary children.
Every section of this book is very interesting and educating. There are so many things I love about this book. Firstly, I totally love the writer's view point on religious tolerance. He advocates that the concept of religious tolerance should be taken a notch higher to become respect for others people's religion. He states that every religion in the world is an expression of the same God. If we therefore claim to love and respect God, it will translate to genuine respect for other religions. I also love the part where he talks about the attitudes every human needs to adopt to be in tune with their divine nature. Some of these attitudes are humility and gratitude. All the attitudes listed by the author do not only connect man with divinity but also would make the world a much better and peaceful place to live in. Also admirable is the writer's stance against the entitlement mentality. Krishna urges everyone to take full responsibility for the outcome of their lives.
The only slight dislike I have about this book is that it is a bit tilted towards Hinduism. Concepts like palm reading and astrology might not really appeal to other adherents of other religions that don't believe in these practices. Beyond this though, if this book is read with an open mind, the reader is surely going to benefit from at least one aspect of the book, be it health, spirituality or tips on building interpersonal relationships.
This book is so rich in contents. It is a spiritual book as well as a health and wellness book. I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars. I give the book this rating because of the inexhaustible and valuable educative information contained in the book. The book is professionally edited as I could not find any grammatical errors or typos in the course of reading the book.
I would recommend this book for everyone to read. It doesn't contain vulgar words. Hence, it is suitable for audiences as young as 13 years old. Anyone that reads this book would have a renewed sense of self-consciousness. I specially recommend the book for teenagers and young adults as it would help them to live a life free of diseases while also living a peaceful life devoid of worries.
