Mysteries of the First Instant by Daniel Friedmann with Dania Sheldon is a non-fiction book about science and mystery. There are many uncertainties about the questions we seek answers to when we read modern physics, like Universe's existence and its foundations and compositions, and this book aims at clearing our doubts regarding them. It is one of the ultimate guides regarding space and the Universe. It provides us an insight into the beginning of the Universe. The author first tries to seek answers to uncertain questions like when and how the Universe came into existence, what happened before the Big Bang, and what other phenomena did occur at the very first instant, just before the creation of the Universe took place. After a point when science becomes incapable of explaining some things, the author seeks explanations in religious books, like, The Genesis and The Torah, and correlates religion and science without comparing them. The book is based on facts, research and experiments.

I loved how the author successfully took a controversial and challenging science-based topic and effortlessly portrayed his thoughts, backing them with research, facts, and religious knowledge. The blend of religion and science was spectacular, giving the readers a unique angle to look into. Likewise, the topics discussed in the book were very enlightening as the information provided was factual and didn't leave any scope for guesswork. I also liked how the author could captivate and satisfy the reader's mind with his sentence-building capability. It's a fascinating book revolving around space and the creation of the Universe. The book didn't deviate from the topics and kept readers on their toes seeking answers to the most arisen questions. The most vital point of the book that I liked was the chosen topic. Also, the specks of mysteries made the book more exciting and spellbound. Finally, the writing style was gripping, and the writer's authenticity was very pleasing.

I have no negative remarks about the book. On the contrary, I found the book exceptionally well-edited without grammatical or spelling errors.

I would give the book 4 out of 4 stars for the writer's authenticity in creativity, research-based works, and captivating aspect.

I would recommend Mysteries of the First Instant to space and science non-fiction lovers. In addition, I would suggest the book for the author's clarity regarding the topic and his image-building capacity. Lastly, I would recommend the book to students of modern science and anyone curious to know about the creation of the Universe.
