Nowadays, because of problems and trauma in their childhood or as adults, some people turn to drugs, alcohol and may suffer from depression or eating addiction. Perhaps some are trying to get out of it but don't know how. So, in her book entitled "Seeking... Finding... Healing...", Becky Lu Jakson shares her own experience and healing path to help these people. In her book, she tries to explain in detail everything that needs to be done to help these people to finally find healing by proposing to communicate with their inner family selves through meditation and visualization. According to her, every person has internal chatter. She also presents exercises and examples to help readers understand how to practice them. She also cites some benefits in practicing these visualizations.

The first positive point is the sharing of these personal experiences in the book. I think this allows the reader to identify with and believe in the possibility of healing as she herself has practiced the tools she shares. And to support this, she also puts testimonies of other people who have also followed her practice for their healing. The second positive point, she also puts examples from her own practice on how to do visualization for example during communication with our inner family selves.

Concerning the negative points, I didn't really find any. And I only noticed a few mistakes that I find insignificant compared to the whole book. I am happy to give a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. I gave this rating because I personally was pleased with the book in general and the way in which everything was detailed in the book. This is a really constructive book; although I don't suffer from addiction, this book was still helpful because it helps us find peace with ourselves and reconcile with our sad or hurtful past. I highly recommend this book especially for those who are looking for healing from their addiction or pain.
