Sometimes thinking about your goals, dreams, and aspirations make you happy and maybe sad. Long enough we had often heard from some of our favorite sports people, singers, or idols to dream big. What if it's possible, what if it's not? What if the right attitude could maybe, or maybe not get your dream to become a reality? Journey to your Summit is a non-fiction book by Dave Vetta. In the book, the author referred to "summit" as one's goals and aspirations.

He also made emphasis on how to achieve them by having the right amount of discipline and portraying a good and conscious amount of financial planning. The author added some practical guides, real-life examples, military tips, and techniques on how to achieve your summit.

Furthermore, the author made notable explanations on the aspect of financial literacy and why it's essential to have a conscious mind towards life planning and financial planning for one's self. He also outlined some ground standards of what a financial plan should entail as to know the right place to look at when planning by yourself or by a professional.

One thing I liked best about the book is how practical, apparent, and concise the book is. I feel it's essential for self-help books to be practical, so as to give the readers some sort of motivation to carry out some of the tips and steps outlined in the book. In addition, I feel the author's choice of words and writing style is great, the author used really easy vocabulary which aided a good flow on the book and also made the book less confusing.

At the end of each chapter, the author concludes with a summary and activity section where he reflects and gives a summary of what that particular chapter talked about, and further provides a blurb and asks a few questions that would cause the reader to have deep thoughts on what they've learned. This made the book somewhat thought-provoking and engaging. Which I feel is essential for a book of this sort.

I rate this book a 4 out of 4 stars as there was nothing I particularly disliked in the book, the book was professionally edited, although I found a very minor error on my course of reading, but it didn't interfere with the book's content. I recommend this book to adult readers, as there were a handful of resources on the subject of financial planning in the book, which I think everyone needs.
