It's a disaster to pursue love if there's any doubt about whether or not it will work out. To be in love is to have a symbiotic relationship in which one person cares for the other even when the other person is apart. Poppy Mortimer's quest for true love is chronicled in this memoir, which is both funny and sad. There will be 28 terrible dates in this non-fiction book, but will she find the one in the midst of them all? Her funny memoir, 28 Disastrous Dates: A (Mostly True) Humurous Memoir And Lessons Learned Along The Way, is a fantastic guide to love and fun yet daunting dating experience.

Indeed, love can be found in the most unexpected places. True love, in my opinion, is elusive, which is why some individuals are willing to settle for less. Ultimately, the effort to locate one's soul mate is worth it because true love will make one joyful above all else. My favourite part of the novel is how Poppy learns something new from each man she meets. Each chapter of the show features a different man with unique defects and inadequacies. Furthermore, it's a well-written piece worth perusing.

Most individuals will settle for a typical existence with an average partner instead of searching for the genuine meaning of love, according to this book's holistic philosophy. What I didn't appreciate about this book, though, was Poppy's tendency to pass judgment on the males she encountered. In my opinion, not all of the 28 men she met are "problematic," "manipulative," or "cunning," as she claims. Moreover, some chapters aren't funny anymore because of the judgment, and this can be off-putting to some of the males that read them.

When it comes to love, there is a wide range of intensity, from the mildest to the most extreme. The book's format works well for me. At the beginning of each chapter, the author included a label containing the names and other identifying information of each of the 28 men featured in the story. Furthermore, it is an exceptionally well-edited book, and the book cover is exquisite. Hence, I am rating it 4 out of 4.

Many people are on the lookout for a soul mate. As a result, this book will appeal to women who are looking for one. Moreover, Poppy's descriptions of the guys' personalities and ways of behaving give many women an idea of the different kinds of men. Nonetheless, younger readers may not be interested due to the explicit sexual content.
