Selling Change

Selling Change by Robert E.Smith is indeed a book for the modern day world
where issues of politics, leadership and most importantly change are top list
issues of deliberations.
The book introduces commitment into the change process rather than just zombie
changes in which organization members go through the motions of change but does
not actually change their behaviours or attributes in meaningful ways. Selling
Change is the approach leaders use to effectively communicate workplace changes
in ways that boost team members commitment and buy into those changes. From the
book, there are four trends changing organization and work:freelancing, social
and analytical skills, making workplace an experience, transparency and rapid
transformation.
There are lots of change skills and techniques to discover from this book.

Positive aspects: The book has lots of positive aspects like the fact that it
helped to correct the general wrong change perspective that workers always
resist every form of change and most change recommendations were backed by
successful examples or stories of CEOs who were able to get positive results
from these methods.

Negative aspects:Personally I don't see any negative aspect in this book.

Rating:I would give the book a rating of 4 out of 4

Recommended audience: I recommend this book to everyone in leadership
positions or those who are aspiring leaders.
