Review of A Dream For Peace
When the power of love and peace triumphs over the love of power, peace will prevail across the country and the world. The book A Dream For Peace is a rare glimpse into the historical past of post-colonial Africa. It is from the distinct perspective of Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, who spent pretty much his entire existence attempting to create tranquillity among all the citizens of his place. He's practically a visionary with great hope for future generations. And in sharing his life story, he offers a glimpse of the third-world countries that greatly struggled after gaining independence. Hence, kindly make a purchase and find out more about this fascinating book!
The book is a collection of detailed information and reveals how we can see the happenings from the past through his life. Adjacently, it shows how the French expunged Algerian heritage, how he got tangled up in activism, and how he proceeded from science to providing legal advice. Hence, it is an incredibly fascinating story about a man who resided in Africa during the most pivotal juncture in his special place.
I appreciated this book for its entertaining vignettes that could brighten up my reading. The use of meandering metaphors enlivened the plot's sluggish pace. Likewise, I like the text's integration of motivational quotes. These validated the author's ideas and encouraged me to take my part as an individual of an organized society in taking action for the betterment and peace of our country. I also adored the incorporation of stunning images from many historical periods, which contributed significantly to the success of this book.
The few formatting flaws are something that made me off-put in this piece. I was expecting an error-free book from a jack of all trades, so a considerable round of proofreading is necessary. Moreover, my first impression of the book was that it was boring, but surprisingly, it was a pretty great deal, especially with the unexpected humour incorporated into the text.
This is an erudite, historically-aware memoir about a life of international diplomacy that makes a passionate demand for peace. One shouldn't miss out on this beautiful read and sea of information about fighting for peace and how it might be a solution to a recurring problem we currently have. In totality, I am giving this book four out of four stars. Furthermore, I recommend this book to lovers of autobiographies tackling politics, economics, and diplomacy.
