Review of Last Words from Above
[Following is a volunteer review of "Last Words from Above" by Jeremy Brown.]
Last Words from Above is a non-fiction book by the author Jeremy Brown. The author shared thousands of quotes in this book which are very helpful. I started reading these quotes and they are so engaging that it did not take me a long time to finish this book. Although, I have finished the book in a few days this book needs more than one reading because the statements made by the author with God’s grace are so useful that I will need them in my daily life. These quotes have the power to guide anyone in difficult times. Sometimes, we got stuck in certain situations which we cannot share with anyone because we feel that people around us will not understand our problem and in that kind of situation, this book is the solution. I always feel like books are our best friends and they do help us in our tough times and this is what this book will do in anyone’s life. Before sharing the quotes in the book, the author shared some events that happened in his life which lead him in writing seven books back to back. I admire the faith that the author has in God. He always believes that God is guiding us and he shared in his book how God gave him signs to visit certain places and get inspiration to write a book.
The book is written in an understandable way. First, the author shared some life events followed by a flood of quotes. I felt amazed after reading each and every line book as I can easily relate to the situations and my life events flashed back with every statement. It is a self-help book. It is a motivational guide to walk on the right track and do the right things in life. This book is for a lifetime. Sometimes, we started doubting ourselves and feel very low, we doubt our self-esteem because of the tough time in our life. And this book is what we need in that kind of time. There are numerous quotes in this book that can be useful in several situations in life. So, I consider this book a great deal to read.
Although, I liked the book very much there are some quotes that have a language that I still cannot understand. I started reading self-help books recently, so maybe that’s why I feel difficult to understand a few quotes. But those quotes are very less in number.
I will give this book 4 out of 4 stars for its amazing content. The quotes are really helpful and also it gives satisfaction that we are on right track. Overall, the book is really great one and is professionally edited.
I will recommend this book to the audience who are finding for a guide with straight answers. It will also help people for finding their life’s purpose and the reason for their existence in the world. This book is a must-have book and everyone should try reading it at least once.
