Review of Reconfigurement
Reconfigurment by E. Alan Fleischauer is basically about planning for the future. It is very common to see old people these days living in regrets due to their failure to plan for the future before hand.
Alan's approach in the book is superb. The way he proffered solution to most of the issues young Americans have with regards to planning for the future by suggesting various means through which they can invest in their future deserves immense commendation. These solutions includes life insurance, life protection, 401(k) just to mention a few. He also highlighted their advantages and disadvantages of the various options. Alan brought to the consciousness of Americans the importance of planning for the future particularly now that life expectancy, unlike in the past, has increased drastically.
The manner he communicated the message is so unique, as he did it in such a way that he gave the reader a place in the book in the sense that it appears as though he was speaking directly to the reader. Alan also garnished is work with humor thus making it fun to read. In addition to what has been said, it appears there was a deliberate attempt to make the work brief as Alan always went straight to the point.
What is more, there are lots of positive things to take from this book ranging from enlightenment of the reader about the importance of planning for the future to the various recommendations which includes life protection, life insurance, social security and more.
Alan equally talked about how life expectancy has risen over the years. This points to the fact that more money more than ever before will be required by an individual to live comfortably upon retirement. Accordingly, it is safe to submit that Reconfigurement is a book that helps the reader plan his or her life with a view to avoiding living in regrets upon retirement.
I would conclude by submitting that there is nothing negative about this book. It is so captivating so much so that the reader is left anticipating for the next page or chapter as the case may be. I am pleased to rate Reconfigurement 4 out of 4 as the book is not only enlightening and entertaining but also professionally edited.
This book will be particularly useful to Americans who are of the working class age as it will help the plan their lives in such a way that upon retirement they will live as comfortable as though they were still working.
