Review of Finding Your Calm
Have you ever experienced unease and agitation? Regardless of the difficulties and pressures humans face daily, we need to keep our sanity and de-stress. Latosha Kelly’s Finding Your Calm should be read as it is a book that goes into detail about how important the well-being of every element in our lives is and how we can maintain calmness. The different types of meditation were described, including non-verbal meditation, which can be practiced with a stone, leaf, fruit, raisin, or quartz while sitting and sensing the sand, a fruit, a raisin, or quartz. It primarily involves emotion rather than thinking. What additional types of meditation are there?
What are the steps to learning meditation if it is a necessary idea for healthy living? You start by selecting a technique, which might be new-age or centuries-old. Next, schedule a time and location for practice. Third, you’ll adopt a relaxed stance, etc. This book makes evident the health benefits of meditation, which include stress relief by lowering blood pressure and reducing muscle tension. It makes sleep better, which causes the brain to relax. The book lists further advantages. The body has been treated using meditation as well as other methods.
In Finding Your Calm by Latosha Kelly, I was exposed to several techniques for ensuring the correct and regular operation of my brain, mind, and body. It also tells us that there is no ideal moment or set period when we should meditate, which is an interesting element. This book is instructive, educational, and self-enlightening. It explains how people can preserve excellent health, mental stability, emotional stability, and speedy recovery from illnesses and offers solutions to a variety of issues related to human life in general.
Instead of having chapters like some other books, this one is divided into fascinating headings that provide summaries or lists of each topic to be covered. People of all backgrounds can read the book because it is written in an easy-to-understand style. The author also did a fantastic job by providing diagrammatic illustrations of specific book headings. It is worth mentioning that the book is well-structured, with no portion lacking sufficient explanation and clarification. Practicing everything in this book can result in having a pleasant and unforgettable experience.
I didn’t encounter any drawbacks when reading this book. There were no grammatical or typographical problems in the book, which speaks highly of its editing. In light of this, I’ll give this book a rating of four out of four stars. In my opinion, anybody interested in the body’s correct operation and well-being should read this book. I’ll also recommend it to doctors of all stripes because it can be used in the healthcare industry and used to support clinical practices.
