Review of A Dream For Peace
After a long period of colonisation of Algeria by the French, a fight for independence was carried out. Berrah Ghoulem stood out for the freedom of Africa. Do you think Berrah was able to overpower the French government? This book, A Dream For Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berraha, contains a lot of mysteries yet to be uncovered.
This is a non-fiction book about an activist who fought for freedom against racism and against religious scepticism. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah was born on May 29, 1938 in Aiin Beida, a small town in the province of Constantine in northeastern Algeria. After the death of his father, Hamadi Berrah, his mother, Lalla Zebiba, took over. Not long after her husband died, she provided him with the best education possible, shaping him into the man he is today. Berrah was a medical doctor who won a lot of awards and made so many achievements. The author was, in fact, a hero of his time. His childhood experiences were indeed a touching tale of growth, love, and sacrifice, which I admire so much.
After reading this book, there were many things I liked and learned from it, which are listed below. Firstly, I love his fight for freedom and peace in his hometown. I also learned that despite all his achievements and his educational standards, he was never too full of himself. He was always modest and fought for his people. This book is both inspirational and informative. This book was exceptionally well edited and will leave no room for confusion on the readers' end. The first thing that attracted me to this book was the title. And I must say, the title covers the entire content of the book. I also love the pictures on some pages; they help to remind us of history and keep our minds moving. I also believe that fighting for freedom is one of the most important things anyone can fight for. And I am convinced that if we all work together, we can achieve a peaceful world.
I found no errors and disliked nothing about this book after reading it. This book was well written and edited. The author's messages were well understood, and I must say that this book is one of the best historical books I have read so far. My thanks to the author for all of his outstanding achievements thus far.
I will therefore rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I would love to recommend this book to those who love reading historical books and memoirs.
