Humans have long been thought to be terrified of cancer as a sickness. Not only has having this disease been terrible, but it has also been incredibly challenging to discover treatments that work for everyone. Although excellent cancer treatments have been developed, not everyone can benefit from them since not everyone gets cancer in the same way. Everyone who has this sickness has a unique approach to coping with and combating the illness. In her book called Winning the War on Cancer, Sylvie Beljanski describes her battles and struggles throughout her life as she strives to carry on her father's legacy.

Sylvie confesses in her book that Mirko Beljanski, a scientist, is her father. She also describes how Mirko Beljanski spent hours looking for the best effective cancer treatment before discovering it. She states that the two most beneficial plants for treating malignant cells are Pao Pereira and Rauwolfia Vomitoria. Sylvie continued Mirko's work even though he passed away because she had always been in his shadow and she ended up understanding a little bit about cancer. She admits that she wanted to continue her father's legacy so that others would know what a wonderful man he was, in addition to carrying out her father's study. However, Sylvie has encountered a lot of difficulties along the way. Reading this book will provide a deeper understanding of its details.

What I liked about this book was how detailed the author was in everything she said and how highly instructive it was regarding health items. I also liked that the author did not use a lot of difficult-to-understand medical jargon; instead, the book was quite simple to understand. I was impressed by the author's ability to discuss his father's research despite the fact that she was not a scientist. This demonstrates how determined she was to promote her father as a magnificent man. I considered it a plus when the author included pertinent citations because it demonstrated that she had conducted further research in addition to using her father's work to support her arguments.

I was shocked to learn that the pharmaceutical industry simply cared about profits and had no regard for us as individuals. Despite their claims to the contrary, they are actually the ones poisoning us. I appreciated Sylvie's dedication to clearing her father's name. By doing this, we as the readers have also gained fresh knowledge about cancer. I was also astounded to find that in addition to being successful at treating cancer, plants are also cheaper.

There was nothing about the book that I didn't like. I appreciated the author's explanation of how the healthcare sector has changed through time. She provided a great deal of detail about everything, including the different experiments his father conducted to get the results he desired. This book teaches us, if anything, that failure is not an option and that you shouldn't give up on your goals until you've reached them. This book was well organized and simple to understand. I didn't find any grammatical mistakes, which suggested that this book was exceptionally edited. Therefore, I would like to rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.

I would like to recommend Winning the War on Cancer to those who have cancer or whose loved ones are coping with the disease right now. Anyone can read this book to learn more about cancer and to benefit from its wealth of knowledge.
