Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead is a non-fiction book written by E. Alan Fleischauer. Alan is a financial advisor who had spent years helping people make plans for their retirement. The book was written to allow people to plan their life for any eventuality and take their lives into their hands.

Society is filled with people trying to make a living and neglecting to plan for their future. They are stuck with the job they dislike and coping with the financial needs it helps to solve. Alan believed that happiness and a good life after retirement are possible if someone plans. The book was written to allow individuals to plan and end up with their dream job while having fun. It covers his plan, which he tagged “Reconfigurement Planning.” He covered some specific themes in this book, like income generation, retirement planning, insurance, and many more. All these were discussed to help in attaining a perfect retirement and not end up having to deal with the issues people experience after retirement.

The book was easy to read, and the author used a writing style that was enjoyable to read. It was also easy to read, and the author used a writing style that was enjoyable to read. The tone of the book got me glued from the beginning to the end. The book focused on daily issues of man that need to be put in place to enjoy retirement. Alan used a lot of examples, both fictional and real ones, to help pass his message across. Retirement planning had always been a difficult thing to do and even read about. The author included detailed analyses for every aspect that was discussed. The book was also filled with statistics, which helped convince readers about the authenticity of things discussed. This also showed that detailed research was done in writing this book. All these made me enjoy this book.

The author did not explain some terms used as he lost me when he mentioned 401(K) without an explanation of what it meant. He should know that readers need adequate information on some of these things as readers will be from different countries. This was the only negative noticed in this book.

The book was exceptionally edited with no errors noticed. The book is a self-guide for anyone who wants to have a perfect retirement. I will recommend this book to adults who want to plan for their retirement. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. The negative was not enough to take a star away from this book.
