Reconfigurement is a book about the need to have good plans for the future. E. Alan Fleischauer teaches his readers how to do a job you love and have fun along the way before retirement knocks on the door. Thanks to his years of experience in the industry, this book can guide you along many issues that can affect your personal, professional, and financial life. For instance, the text discusses topics about careers, investments, and health insurance. Many chapters of the novel are dedicated to these important issues. Fleischauer also dispels some myths people have about finances based on his personal experiences. In short, the book is about how you can "reconfigure" your life and enjoy as much of it as you possibly can.

I liked that the book is so direct and to the point. Fleischauer does not mince words when discussing issues that affect our future, which is helpful since this book is written as a guide to help us organize our lives and enjoy a less stressful retirement and career. Still, although Reconfigurement deals with a fairly serious topic, the author was skillful enough to keep the content entertaining through witty jokes. I also appreciated that the advice the author offered his readers in this book is so solid. Fortunately, the financial tips the book offers are based on experience. So, you will be learning how to organize your life from someone who actually knows what they are talking about by reading this book. Basically, this is a book that should put most people's fears about their financial futures to rest.

Generally, there isn't much I didn't like about Reconfigurement. Sure, the book is short, since it is less than 150 pages long, but it is still quite thorough. I did not feel that any issue was not adequately addressed by the author.

The book is professionally edited, which is why I give it a rating of 4 out of 4 stars.

I recommend Reconfigurement to people of all ages, particularly young people who tend to think that the future is too far off to be an immediate concern. Although the book is mostly about people who are about to retire, the advice it offers can be of great help to people of any working age. Reconfigurement is also easy to read and full of witty humor, which should make it an entertaining and informative read for all readers.
