Review of Reconfigurement
There comes an age when one feels it's enough and thinks of retiring or maybe quitting when one is not satisfied with the job. After making such decisions our lives become dormant or inactive. What is this that we didn't consider or do before coming to such decisions?
In this book, Reconfigurement, E. Alan Fleischauer provides guidance on what to do before and after retirement. Having experience in the financial industry, E. Alan Fleischauer unravels factors to consider when planning ahead for our lives. He exhaustively discusses these factors and their key importance as we think of reconfiguring our lives. Some of these factors include income, investing, and assessment, just to mention a few. With all these helpful tips and strategies, this book is jam packed with valuable information that is beneficial to everyone. If one puts all these strategies and tips to work, then one will enjoy working at the job one loves and have an active retirement before and after.
I would like first to say that this book has wonderful strategies. I am at a time in my life where I have to start planning ahead for my life, so this book came at a perfect time. I can happily say that I will consider and apply all these strategies that E. Alan Fleischauer suggests as I look forward to reconfiguring my life. I loved the author's choice of vocabulary; it fit well in this book. His detailed descriptions were top-notch. Another positive aspect of this book is the author's friendly tone in his writing. E. Alan Fleischauer used a friendly approach to convey his message and paused jokes and humor so as to attract and retain readers' attention. This style will be warmly embraced by readers because it will not only be entertaining but also make their understanding of the topic easier. Moreover, I appreciate the author for posting websites so that readers can go on and get more information from the websites. What I loved about the book is the author's desire to see people having fun before and after retirement. For instance, the author didn't learn the importance of planning until later in his life; he has made efforts to provide this skill in this book so that we can learn early and prepare for our future.
I didn't find any flaws in the book. I also didn't spot any grammatical errors or typos in the book. I will rate it 4 out of 4 stars because of the above pros. I really enjoyed reading this book. It was well written and exceptionally edited.
I would recommend this book to people aged forty to seventy. I found this book to be educational, and one important thing I learned was that in order to enjoy and have fun before and after retirement, one must begin early planning for it.
