Review of Reconfigurement
Are you at a point in your life, where you are starting to ask yourself about what you’ll do next, or how you will survive for the next couple of years after you retire? Have you made poor financial decisions for the longest time, and you wish to make things right and secure your future? Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is exactly what you need to get answers to some of your questions. This is a short, sweet and precise book, that will help you on your journey towards reconfiguring your financial life. Alan walks us through several concepts that one needs to look at, if they are to live life with minimal stress, and not to have to depend on charity or other family members for support. The book comprises thirteen chapters, which are well explained and very elaborate. Alan’s intention is to help his readers sit down, analyze their lives and make informed decisions with regard to their career choices, life choices and other important decisions that affect our lives in a big way.
Looking at the positive aspects, Reconfigurement is well organized in thirteen chapters, and one builds on the other. With this, the reader gets to build up knowledge and skills as they walk through the different chapters. This is an amazing aspect as you get to practice and perfect certain skills, in this case, growth mindset.
Additionally, Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer tackles very crucial matters and subjects, which impact each and every being. It also provides solutions to these problems, solutions that if the reader puts to mind and acts to implement them, he/she will impact their lives positively. It is a whole journey towards financial freedom, with tips and tricks to securing one’s future. This is very expensive knowledge that the author takes time to share with his readers, just to help them evade struggles at a later stage of their lives. The author also understands that some of the concepts he tackles could be a bit hard for the reader to comprehend in one sitting, and he goes ahead to use elaborative diagrams, and simple language that could be easily understood. Alan also has a rich sense of humour, which in fact come at the right time, and this makes one easily engage with the author at a deeper level.
The book was exceptionally well-edited and there are no negative aspects to it. The chapters are organized nicely in thirteen chapters, and each chapter builds on the previous one, and it is therefore very easy to follow through and build up knowledge.
I rate the book 4 out of 4 . This is due to the invaluable information and knowledge shared from chapter to chapter. Alan also shared plenty of resources and tools that a reader could use to gain further knowledge or carry out self-assessment as they plan to reconfigure their lives. This is a powerful approach towards financial freedom and living a happy, healthy and fulfilling life.
I would recommend Reconfigurement to anyone who is asking themselves what the future holds for them, and they don’t know where to start with planning for that future. Considering how much the book talks about US-based bills, bonds, retirement schemes and the likes, there is a preferable audience there. If you are also planning to move to the United States or are already living there, this book will help you a lot when settling in or negotiating your pay. However, anyone in any other country will find the content in this book insightful. Alan says it is suitable for those approaching retirement, but I feel like it will be helpful to even a young man or woman, as it will help in planning ahead.
