“I’ve found that most retirement books address either the right brain or the left brain, but not both. Based on my findings, I created the concept of Reconfigurement financial planning to examine both sides of the equation.” says E. Alan Fleischauer, the author of Reconfigurement. He has years of experience as a financial advisor and retirement planner. He wrote this book to serve as a retirement guide. He adds that this book is his new formula of retirement that helps readers plan ahead and change their life now according to their retirement plan. The topics he discussed range from health insurance to investing, to having a job that we enjoy to achieving a sustainable income. Along the way, he imparts tips, techniques, and tools. His main focus was persuading readers that specific financial actions and plans - which most people consider boring - are important for a pleasant retirement.

As he stated, E. Alan Fleischauer conducted extensive research to write this book. There were a ton of research findings given to back up concepts. The display of data was attractive and pictorial. A few brief true stories were also provided as examples. The third chapter of Reconfigurement was my favorite. It was about selecting the ideal career that fits our identities. In order to help readers create a list of intriguing professions that match their identity type, certain free websites that offer an identity assessment service were recommended in this chapter. The fact that the author took all the tests from the websites he suggested and included a brief summary of each in this book was fascinating.

Its friendliness is a feature of this book that I really admire. Even when I was reading topics that had absolutely nothing to do with me, I didn't feel bored. E. Alan Fleischauer's language wasn't overly formal. He engaged the readers by using slangs, question tags, and humorous jokes. This was good for me because it allowed me to learn more without becoming bored easily. For me, it was like speaking with a professional—not too dry, nor too juicy. I believe the author's prior experience writing fiction may have aided in making this book approachable and interesting.

I didn't hate anything about Reconfigurement. Professional editing was done. Throughout my reading, I didn’t come across any typos or grammatical errors. I rate this book four out of four stars since it entertained and informed me. The positive aspects of the book I described in the preceding paragraphs support my ranking.

Elders should definitely read this book. For readers under 40, I don’t believe it is best suited. I recommend Reconfigurement for those who want to know more about retirement.

I don't think we have to think about retirement if we are working a career we love and makes us happy. But I appreciate your review.

Yeah I share your feeling, but please read this book and you will get a little bit deference on your view about retirement.

Woah. Nice review. I don't think I should read this book though. Since I'm under 40. Way way under 40.
