The Dream Primer By Jeff Meyer is a 97-page book on how to pursue your dreams. Don't let the short length of the book fool you. This is an excellent book with no fluff and exercises to help you figure out what your dream is and how to get started. The book is well edited.

Jeff Meyer is a pastor, consultant, and coach. The Dream Primer is about why dreams are important and why we should go after them. Meyer believes everyone should go after their goals to make the world a better place. He gives tips on how to get clarity on your dreams if you aren't sure what you want.

He explains why fear is one of the main things stopping people from their dreams. And then, he breaks down why fear is a big issue and how to conquer the fear.

There are also case studies showing how other people accomplished their dreams. It's helpful to see how other people get clarity on their purpose and the steps they took to pursue their goals.

There are several transformative exercises in the book. I recommend doing the exercises, especially if you aren't sure of your dreams. Doing the exercises gave me more clarity. I now know the main thing I need to do to get started on my biggest dream. The dream generator is my favorite exercise.

I love how the author acknowledges that dreams come at a cost. Some people like to make going after your dreams a fairy tale, and I love that this author is much more realistic than many of the authors I've read.

People don't need another author telling them how to live their best life without acknowledging that things have to be given up and you also will gain things. So I'm glad I gave this book a chance when I've recently been weary of personal development books.

I recommend Dream Primer to anyone but specifically to people who love to dream but have a problem planning out the steps, people who have forgotten their dreams, and people who never dream because of fear. I don't recommend this book to people who don't like any mention of religion.

I don't have any negative things to say about the book. It is short but concise and says what is needed without the fluff.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because Jeff Meyer's writing is inspirational, and he gives you practical writing exercises to know your dreams and how to go after them. After reading this book, you will get clarity on what you want and know what you need to start going after your dreams.
