When most of us start working, the only thing on our minds is how we can spend our paychecks and live our best lives. Rarely do we think about retirement or what will happen if there is an accident and we are no longer able to work. Planning for the future is just as important as enjoying the present. In Reconfigurement, E. Alan Fleischauer provides us with the knowledge needed to plan ahead. What can you do to ensure your future is secure? What retirement plans are available and what is the best plan for you? This book answers all these questions and so much more.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Not only did I get a financial lesson, but it was also an entertaining read. The author had a humorous voice and some witty jokes were strategically placed in different sections of the chapters to secure that a reader doesn't get bored. The author posits that in order to start reconfiguring your life, you must have some type of income. Without an income, there is no way to plan for retirement. I appreciate the fact that the author was passionate about sharing this information. It was evident that he had the reader's best interest at heart.

There was not a dull moment throughout the entire piece. It's hard to believe that this was a financial self-help book. I like its unconventional nature. I did not dislike anything about this book. Every topic was explained in detail and was very valuable. The book was well-structured and was an easy read. I enjoyed reading about the different assessments the author did. I went ahead and completed the ones I could find online. I must point out that some of the links to the assessment exercises were outdated.

After reading Reconfigurement, I must say that value was added to my life. I have gained a wealth of knowledge from reading this book. I have to give it a score of four out of four stars. It was exceptionally well edited, as I couldn't find any typing or grammatical errors.

This book contains valuable information for everyone who is in the working class. I would recommend it, especially to persons just starting in the working world, as this guide will help them reconfigure their lives. This book would also be helpful for persons who do not understand anything about retirement and wish to learn. This book will provide all the necessary information needed.
