Review of Reconfigurement
Reconfigurement is a must-read for those who want to change their lives because you are never too old to be the change that is needed to better your circumstances. Reconfigurement is written by E. Alan Fleischauer who lives in Minnesota with his wife, Paula, the love of his life. Alan has become experienced in his field of work and has worked as a financial advisor for more than 20 years and has his own business, and has spent many years as a financial service executive, venture capitalist, and merchant banker. Due to his years of experience, he has amassed a wealth of knowledge in the complex world of global finance, and in this novel, Alan promotes the idea of planning for retirement, which is a big part of his practice. Alan created Reconfigurement which is about reconfiguring your life at any stage by planning for your future so that you are not caught off guard. Many have been during these last few years with covid-19 causing global economic disturbances on a scale that has not been expected which has caused many businesses to close their doors, meaning that many workers have lost their jobs. But that is not where our economic problems have ended, the war raging in Ukraine has caused inflation to be at its highest in years, which is carving a hole through the pockets of many people and has depleted their life savings at an astounding rate, and that is why this book is so important because it aims to prepare you for the unknown so that you are fully equipped to handle the hand that life might deal you.
What I liked about Reconfigurement is the factual content that is written on each page with ways to better your current position, from the different policies which may be of benefit to you to how you can go about finding possible job prospects that you might at your age be able to handle, because with some being in their golden years you are limited when it comes to what you are capable of doing and the author gives informative ways of finding these possible jobs by listing job books that can help you find that job you might enjoy instead of slaving away at one that sucks away any joy in your life which is happening to many of us right now.
The book does have a lot of financial jargon with more than a few words that I did not understand, so a reference with the financial terms would have been of great help to readers not familiar with those terms.
Reconfigurement has made me wiser about how important it is to plan for your future and your retirement because you do not want to be placed in a situation where you fall ill and you have no means of paying to keep yourself properly looked after. This book is the OnlineBookClub.org July 2022 book of the Month!!! This book is focused on planning for your future, working at a job you love, and having fun before you retire. It covers affordable health insurance, investing, career testing, life protection, 401K or IRA, and social security. E. Alan Fleischauer is an award-winning poet and a multi-award-winning author as well as an Amazon bestseller. I rate Reconfigurement 4 out of 4 stars because I learned more than I thought I would and will continue learning as I read the books that E. Alan Fleischauer referenced in this book so that I can properly plan for my future which is now at the top of my list.
The ideal reader for this book is age 40-50, but being a much younger reader myself it has helped me a lot. That is why I would recommend this book to all of those that are employed and do not know what to do with their money. Budgeting right now and saving what is left whether it is in your 401K or in a policy that will benefit you or your family in the future, will indeed be of help when another global economic catastrophe happens again and indeed it will happen again just like it has many of times in the past, and if history teaches us anything, it is that we should learn from the mistakes of those that came before us. Now is the perfect time to implement your strategy to avoid those misfortune situations which makes Reconfigurement a must read if you want to do so.
