Review of Reconfigurement
Most people in our world today do not have a plan for their future, and that's the deadliest trap to live in. Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer specifically contains thirteen chapters and it's an educative non-fiction book, that uncovers the missing piece in the puzzle of planning for retirement and our great future. The writer started with how important planning for our future is and that retirement should bring happiness and not sorrow, he goes on to give well-detailed facts of his research about how 70% of people don't like their jobs, and how only a significant few enjoy pensions after retirement. Alan went further to explain how many retired individuals get bored and broke after retirement cause they made little or no plans for it. The writer instructs us on how important reconfiguring our life is, and the beautiful thing about it is that it can be done at any stage of our lives. The writer gave a clear description with practical examples of how to plan. He used table chats and Bi charts to buttress his point. In this great inspiring book, the writer brings together the great disconnect between the reality of retirement and the crude traditional concepts our society has adopted regarding retirement. Do you like to travel, exercise, eat healthily and not live from hand to mouth whether you are young or old? Then you need Reconfigurement.
The positive aspect of this book is enormous and unfathomable. Alan did a great job in putting this work together. As it is written comprehensively in simple and clear language. The writer was straight to the point and didn't beat around the bush. I also love the fact that the writer includes jokes in this book, it was indeed the juice that kept me glued. But what struck me hard was the fact that the central message of this book applies to all individuals with great research to back up his work. Planning is very important and planning for the future is the most important. I believe this is what our society needs right now. The right planning!!!
One of the words that are always underrated is planning. By that I mean, having a solid plan that's feasible, with smart goals to achieve them. This book is just what you've been yearning for. I enjoyed reading this book honestly. As there were lots of lessons gained from this book, rather than working jobs we don't like and feeling sorry for ourselves and living unfulfilled lives, there is an ability test in this book that would test your strengths and temperaments so you can know what category of work best suites you and work would be fun.
There was nothing that I disliked about this book. It was both an educative and motivating rollercoaster for me because it pushes me to challenge myself and be a better version of myself.
This book was well written. In my opinion, Reconfigurement was exceptionally edited. I did not notice any grammatical or spelling errors while reading the book.
Planning for the future is one thing that resonates well with all humans. Therefore, this book is for those who are lovers of knowledge, and those who want to change their status quo. Also for entrepreneurs and those in the working class. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars due to the few points mentioned above and also for the writer's simple yet direct style of writing.
