Are you looking for knowledge on how to change your financial game plan? Then this is the book for you. E. Alan Fleischauer's Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead takes pride in its educative and informative qualities. It's a book majorly about financial literacy that stresses the idea of Reconfigurement financial planning, which essentially implies the need for one to reconfigure one's life at any stage and make precedent plans to accommodate the changes. The author wrote about how unwise it is to abruptly quit a job without having a solid plan in place. He quite brilliantly diversified the book to address divergent areas of life, which incorporated health insurance, life insurance suitable for different financial classes in America, investing, retirement planning, etc. This book also debunked certain myths and set the records straight on a lot of issues.

I love how educational this book is. Most of us today are working, but just a few genuinely enjoy the kind of work they do. For some that do not enjoy their work, they quit at the slightest inconvenience. I love that the author advocated for one to have planned ahead on what the next step is before electing to quit a job they don't like. That's a very valid point, and that's the concept of Reconfigurement financial planning, which I can't deny that I learnt a whole lot from, and many readers will do the same.

I love that the author did an in-depth explanation of the main concept in the book by stating that reconfigurement starts with income. He established the nexus between financial planning and reconfigurement. I also loved how compartmentalised the book is. Different topics were addressed in different chapters, which made for a good comprehension of the concepts in the book. Another vital part of the book which I really loved was the author's point on how important it is for one to have fun before retirement.

I couldn’t find anything dislikable about this book. It is a brilliant read and is packed with a lot of great lessons. An additional reason I couldn't fault any part of the book was that I could tell the editor did a phenomenal job on the editing, as I didn't see any errors in the book. The book was exceptionally well edited.

I rate Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead 4 out of 4 stars. It's packed with a lot of thoughtful information, and I enjoyed every chapter.

I highly recommend this book to people, especially Americans who would love to learn about health insurance, life insurance, investment, retirement planning, etc.
