Review of Reconfigurement
[Following is a volunteer review of "Reconfigurement" by E. Alan Fleischauer.]
Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a book on how to be financially prepared for any eventuality. The author lists the steps a person needs to follow to be secure for the future. The author states that for a person to achieve this, they first have to find a reliable source of income. The author gives the importance and advantages of having a 401(k) and putting money in it. He advises how to find a good-paying job and build a long-lasting career that you can enjoy. The next step is to plan for any contingencies. These may include sicknesses, death, or any form of disaster. A person finally needs to invest their money and plan for their retirement.
E. Alan Fleischauer has a unique, casual way of writing. The writing is very friendly and conversational. The book has a natural follow and is easy to understand. Making a financial book sound casual is not easy, but the author did this flawlessly. The author provided diagrams and illustrations to represent the statistics and data. It made it easy for me to understand and remember. The book also has references to helpful websites and books. These were very relevant to the topics discussed and to a person that wants to try out these steps. They save as well-established guidelines that a person can easily follow.
At first, I did not like the puns and jokes. Eventually, I grew to like them. I realized that they balanced the technical talk, and I started looking forward to the jokes at the end of every chapter. Comedy in finance books may not be for every reader.
The power of planning is vital to every individual. The author presented this message very loudly and clearly. The steps he gave were chronologically given and easy to follow. The writer is a well-informed person that did his research and presented only the relevant information needed. I did not find any grammatical or spelling errors in this book. I give this book a 4 out of 4 stars rating. Excellent writing skills.
I enjoyed reading this book and am sure many people will love it too. Many people do not know the use of some financial benefits. This book can be a guide on their importance and benefits. I recommend this book to people that want to take control of their finances and make a concrete plan for their future. Finances can get tricky, but having a well-tested plan to financially prepared for the future. The websites and steps in this book are easy to follow, and anyone can grasp the concept. Therefore, I recommend it to people of all ages. The earlier you start to reconfigure, the better. Brilliant work.
