Reconfigurement is the aspect of financial planning is the act of making financial changes in your life at any stage and planning.

Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a self-help book. It focuses on changing your life and planning for retirement. He has brought reality to retirement compared to a traditional approach. The traditional approach focuses on people stopping to work at 65 due to sensible and careful management and accumulation of assets. The reality, according to Fleischauer, should be based on hard work, saving hard, and investing. Having worked as a financial advisor for more than 20 years, he has realized that many populations do not love their jobs hence the stress on Reconfigurement financial planning for retirement.

Old age can be stressful as one becomes more and more independent. Finances can become scarce as expenditure increases. Needs like medical care and home care make Reconfigurement and planning a wise step. Fleischauer has broken down the following aspects of planning for retirement: investing, wills, life insurance, etc. He has also stated that one can do jobs one loves after retiring for constant financial flow.

The author broke down the topics in an easy-to-read manner, making it possible to cover a wide range of subject matter in a few pages. Topics about finances can sometimes be dull o; the author threw in humor at random points. He also included quotes that married the topic being discussed. The chapters were short and easy to grasp one or two points. The length of the chapters was not tiring. The constant statements from the author about the chapter coming to an end were also a booster to finishing the book. The plot of the book was fast-paced.
The part that piqued my interest most in the book was career assessments. This book is the antidote to those who are doing jobs they don't like. Getting to know yourself is a great way to handle the pressures of life. That is why I loved this part most in the book. There is no part that I did not like in the book, as all of them were relevant. I only came across one typographical error.

The author did a commendable job. It is indeed an eye-opener to many in society. I give this book a well-deserved rating of 4 out of 4 stars. It is breathtaking to know that it is possible to reconfigure your life at any stage. Planning can save you big time. I recommend this book, especially to those kicking off their careers and approaching retirement age.
