Review of Reconfigurement
Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a book that elaborately discusses the importance of planning ahead of time. The author has used his extensive knowledge of financial management to discuss some essential requirements for making the best use of an income for people nearing retirement. The novel reveals a wealth of critical information needed to make important financial decisions, ranging from fundamental components such as career assessment to more complex constituents such as budgeting, investments, retirement plans, and even social security and insurance.
For various reasons, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. To begin with, the author's writing style was amusing from the start. I was captivated, and I found solace in the fact that the author chose to alleviate the tension that can often accompany a discussion about finance and money in general. He chose to give readers a fun and lively experience with his book. He kept the topics brief and concise, slightly emphasizing the major points while also mentioning minor details to complement the former and paint a broader picture. He also referenced various resources in certain chapters, some of which he had tried himself and gave honest opinions about what to expect and how they could help his readers. This demonstrates his thoroughness, and I find this act admirable. While making his own test claims, he also encouraged his readers to seek consultation from licensed practitioners who would be able to give more specific advice with regards to their issues. They are to view his work as a guide to help them have a better understanding of some generic factors that can and should be considered when it comes to making certain important financial decisions.
While reading, I discovered a few errors. However, the book was very informative and enjoyable to read, and I learned a lot. Because of how the author presented his argument, I believe this book stands out among others of its kind.
I'm giving this book four out of four stars because I believe it deserves nothing less. It is, in my opinion, a very useful read and a fantastic book.
I believe this book will be beneficial to its primary target audience—those approaching retirement age. Anyone in the working class will also find this very helpful, especially the younger generation who really need to get things in order as soon as they can, so they can plan for an easier and more comfortable life in the future. Even if a person is not yet retired or close to retirement, learning from the content of this book will be extremely beneficial.
