Review of Reconfigurement
Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is an eye-opening and enlightening book that talks explicitly about planning ahead. The writer takes his time to explain planning ahead, right from the grassroots to the point of full understanding of the basics needed in planning ahead. The author talks about how to balance the normal tradition or mentality of people about financial matters with what is right and meant to be. He also goes on to devise and recommend possible means of discovering oneself, helping people to do what suits them most and what they enjoy doing, and also generating an income from there, thereby eradicating the issue of people doing what they don't like. E. Alan Fleischauer didn't hoard his knowledge about financial planning as he also talks widely about it, explaining investments and types of investments one should be involved in as a working class, those looking forward to retirement, and also after retirement. He also talks expressly about budgeting, what it entails, how it can be achieved, and its advantages such that a lot is revealed concerning financial planning, leaving the reader with great insights into not only planning one's life in relation to what one does but being financially stable even near death and also after death.
I enjoyed reading Reconfigurement as it is an informative and educational book and after I finished reading the book, I was left more knowledgeable about the subject matter. I love the way the author carries the reader along the book with expertise, keeping the reader glued to the book to the end. I also love how the author introduced jokes in the middle of the book to light the reading up when it starts to get boring.
As much as I enjoyed the book, I do not like the fact that it was majorly focused on the older generation, talking about how the older generation has started to get older and majorly about how to plan ahead for their retirement and after their retirement, leaving the younger generation out in some chapters.
I rate Reconfigurement 4 out of 4 stars. I give Reconfigurement this rating because the writer did so well in communicating with the reader the theme of the book and I also find little to no error in the book.
I recommend Reconfigurement to those who do not know about financial planning, those who want to know more about investments, those who want to know the work that suits their personalities best, and mainly those who look forward to planning towards their retirement.
