[Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of "Magna Carta R.I.P?" by Jude Meritus.]

In Western society and the world at large, recent events have seen the church deviating more and more from the fundamental and absolute truth of the Bible. The church is being eclipsed, overshadowed, and gradually swallowed up by false and modern humanist ideologies. What is the church's outlook going forward? Will the church be caught unprepared at the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ?

In Magna Carta R.I.P? Jude Meritus strives to be the voice that speaks for the church at a time when many are silent, and the freedom of the church to preach the gospel is constantly being subdued. He explores the historical and present status of the Magna Carta and presents several situations in which Christians face conflicts with present-day politics, religion, and philosophy. He aims to alert the public to significant threats that point to the ancient prophecies of the book of Revelation and their fulfillment in our day. He exposes, regrettably, how the proliferation of humanist philosophies, which have permeated every aspect of society, is usurping and replacing God's laws, which are the foundation of the Magna Carta.

I appreciate the author for not merely imposing his message on the reader but leaving room for critical thinking and analysis by dissecting crucial issues today, such as gender identity, threats to the Christian religion, sexual ethics, and the role that the family plays in all this. Additionally, he provides the reader with convincing facts and evidence from a wide range of genuine sources to support his views, allowing them to establish the truth for themselves. Also, by detailing his conversion to Christianity and the acceptance of Jesus Christ into his life, he endears the reader to himself.

I found nothing negative about this book. This exhaustively researched work, written as a thought-provoking and eye-opening commentary for everyone out there, especially Christians, shows the enormous effort and length of time the author spent on it. He includes specific references and passages from the Bible in order to bolster his line of reasoning and demonstrate how the Bible has accurately predicted current events in the world and events that are still yet to come,

With the exception of the numerous errors I found while reading, this book was practically flawless. As a result, I give it a rating of 3 out of 4. The book needs another round of meticulous editing to be totally error-free. Christians, students, historians, religious leaders, and anybody interested in learning a great deal about significant religious issues that need urgent resolution should read this.

This is a very important discussion. Although I have my own opinions about the current state of the church, I believe it will be worthwhile to read what others actually think about this. It could also help raise more awareness if we all share this book with our fellow Christians.

I believe this would be a very interesting book, and I know that a lot of the things in the Bible have been changed to suit man and the church. I love my Old Testament which I grew up with and how I was taught about the Bible. I love how the book is thought-provoking and not telling you what is and isn't right. It shows you, but you need to decide for yourself in the end. Well done on a great review and for #BOTD!

I think that this book would be extremely captivating, and it's my understanding that many parts of the Bible have been adapted to suit human needs and the church's interests. The Old Testament, which I was introduced to during my upbringing, is something I hold dear. I appreciate how the book challenges your thinking and doesn't impose any right or wrong beliefs on you. Instead, it presents ideas, and you must make your own judgments. Congratulations on an excellent review and being selected as Book Of The Day.

The title is inviting me to think about what I have learned in school about the Magna Carta. I am happy to learn from the reviewer that the entire book is thought-provoking, that the author hands arguments to the reader but is not imposing his views.

I think it's an important discussion. I might be more on the side of what the author calls "humanist ideologies" but that doesn't mean there's much to learn from religious values.

I appreciate critical thinking and analytical books, however, I do not think that the church has lost the freedom to preach the gospel. We still see many missionaries from different churches and religions doing God's work around the world, we still see the Pope and many religious leaders in important places and taking stands against what is wrong. What freedom is being restricted?

As a historian, I was initially interested in this book, but it looks a bit dry for me and I'm not sure I would enjoy it from reading the sample.

It appears this story is about how history and present day thoughts are causing Christians to move in the wrong direction. I love history but when it is heavily weighted to religion I am not interested. So I won't be reading this book. Great review!

I love the concept of the book and appreciate that the author didn't shove his ideology down the throats of the readers. I however do not like the errors present in the book. Congratulations on BOTD

book of the day BOTD is non fiction magna determination to find out why church is so silence while facing conflict with politics, religion and philosophy he has embodied biblical truth and express regrets because the voice thst can speak for the church at a time of its growth is silence .he examine hard evidence of conspiracy theory reality facing the modern Christianity that is so silence. The book was well written and reviewed even though its not for everyone , it has too much Christianity !!!few people will find it not interesting.
