Review of A Dream For Peace
Have you ever tried fighting for something? I guess so. I mean, something unique, though it may not come easily, because nothing good comes easily anyhow. The book "A Dream for Peace" by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is a non-fiction memoir that portrays love for one’s country. For more information, hurry now and take a glimpse at this book.
Dr. Ghoulem Berrah was born in 1938 in Algeria. Of course, he was an Algerian. He started by sharing his family’s story and his culture in Algeria. This book contains several events in Dr. Ghoulem's life, from his birth to adulthood. Despite being a medical doctor, Ghoulem aspired to be self-sufficient. He was a political ambassador who fought for freedom and equality to disengage Algeria from the French Revolution. As nothing comes easily, Dr. Ghoulem faced so many persecutions in fighting for Algeria, one of which was imprisonment. I think the risk he took was worth it. Dr. Ghoulem didn’t achieve this alone; he got some assistance from Morrocco and other political powers. Did he later achieve his dream?
This book was well-established and informative. I loved so many things in this book. Starting from the book’s title, the book title suits the context of the book. Also, the author has a lot of life experience, from which I learned a lot. The book also contains pictures of the author's memoir, which add interest to the readers. The author also shared his culture, acrobatics, and so on, which inspired me a lot. I must say, the author is a role model for our younger generations. Despite all the problems he encountered, he still focused on his dream and also showed the spirit of patriotism. The author put a lot of effort into this book before publication, and I commend him for that.
Although this book was good, it had some flaws. I must say, this was a long read. I did come across some punctuation errors, but they were not major and didn’t distract me during reading. I found no errors in this book. This book was professionally edited.
The beginning of this book was intriguing and inspiring. I rate this book, A Dream for Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, 4 out of 4 stars. I see no reason to deduct a star from this book. I recommend this book to people over the age of 16, people looking forward to independence, and also to historians. This book will be of great benefit to people in the above categories.
