Fleischauer Financial Management Inc., owned and operated by E. Alan Fleischauer, provides financial advice and retirement planning services. Reconfigurement, by E. Alan Fleischauer, offers the American industry helpful lessons on how to plan for your retirement and do so comfortably by the age of 65. After performing extensive study and making numerous observations, the author begins this book by outlining his motivation for writing it. The author continues by outlining why an effective retirement plan must include both income and social security.

After working as a financial counselor for a couple of years, Alan says he has observed that many people do not enjoy their professions, which contributes to the burden placed on retirement financial planning. In the chapters written in this book, the author highlights the need to invest; the advantages of having an IRA, and the advantages of property ownership are all covered for a successful retirement. Reconfigurement, by E. Alan Fleischauer, also highlights how crucial it is to create a Will so that your assets are distributed after your passing. Later, at the end of the book, the author also gives insight into some of the books that would be best to read for retirees.

This book has significantly increased my understanding and helped me to understand both their advantages and disadvantages. One of the things I have learned as a young person reading this book is to open an individual retirement account early. This will ensure a safe retirement, especially considering the cost of medical care for the old in the United States. I appreciate the author’s humor throughout the book including the fact that he went further to make available links to websites that corroborate his study and let readers learn more.

Despite the confusing statistics from his research, the author did a remarkable job in writing this book. It was simple to understand one or two ideas in the brief chapters. Another motivator for finishing the book was the fluency and flow of the book. I also found the book more engaging with reality and nothing seemed off to me. This book was professionally edited and I did not find any grammatical errors while reading it. I, therefore, give this book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars.

I recommend this book to everyone who is working and preparing for retirement to do so if they want to make plans for a brighter future. I also advise it to independent contractors who anticipate needing time off in their later years. Also, as a young reader myself, I would recommend people in their late 30s to read this book while they still have their well-paying jobs intact.
