Review of Reconfigurement
Reconfigurement, written by E. Alan Fleischauer, is a non-fiction book about reconfiguring your life and planning. The author talks about planning for retirement and criticizes traditional planning for retirement, which involves accumulating enough assets by saving as much as possible while spending the least money possible. The author criticizes traditional retirement planning since many Americans are living longer than the average life span. It means people should take some measures to ensure comfortable old age. The method he highlights include budgeting, investments, retirement plans, and insurance policies which he discusses in detail in the chapters presented in his book. He also provides stories as examples of the retirement planning methods he discusses. The author discusses the importance of those techniques and their effect on financial plans. If you are interested in knowing methods for planning retirement, read this book, and you will find out.
I liked several aspects of this book that made the book interesting to read. Firstly, the author explains retirement planning methods and provides an example of each technique. It made sure that the reader could understand how the method worked. Secondly, the author provided additional books and other resources that contain financial planning information at the end of his book. I liked it because it helps provide more information about retirement planning that the author may not have provided in the book. Finally, I liked how the author assembled all the information people ask about finances and retirement in one book. It provides the necessary insights about planning ahead and for retirement, which is of much help to many people.
I had nothing to criticize in this book since it was great. The flow was great, which engaged the reader. The author knew the information he provided in this book was essential, so he used simple language to explain everything for readers to understand. He also avoided the use of profanities since it was inappropriate given the information the book provides.
I rate Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer four out of four stars. The book was explicitly edited; hence, I found no errors. It had many positive aspects and no negative aspects. The information provided was quite educative, and the tone was conversational. Since it was perfect in every aspect, I find it deserves the highest rating.
I recommend this book to anyone interested in knowing retirement planning. It would be helpful since it teaches people to plan for retirement. The author is a financial advisor; hence, he provides information readers can trust.
