Review of Reconfigurement
Reconfigurement, written by E. Alan Fleischauer, is a non-fiction book about planning for retirement. The author is a financial advisor. He discusses the need to find a retirement strategy beyond the traditional retirement strategy that involves focusing on finding enough assets for retirement. It would be important since most Americans live longer than the normal life span, so they should have a plan involving activities after retirement. The author addresses some of the questions many people ask in the book. He does so by discussing some of the best strategies and providing examples for each strategy. The author discourages quitting jobs without planning. In the book, the author explains topics such as career assessment, social security, health insurance, income, retirement plans, and investment: where he discusses how each affects people's lives. Do you want to know how to plan in matters involving retirement? Read this book and find out.
The book was great; hence, it had many positive aspects. I liked the act of the author providing other books and resources that involve financial planning at the end of this book. It was helpful to the reader since they provided information that the author may not have included in his book. I liked how the author provided educative information in this book. Many people have no idea of planning for retirement. The author combining educative information into one book was educative and genius. I liked the author's style of explaining the planning techniques for retirement using real-life examples since it was genius. It engaged the reader and made them trust the information since it proved trustworthy due to the use of real-life examples.
I did not find anything to criticize in this book. The flow was great, which engaged the reader. The author used simple language to present the information. Using simple language ensured that everyone would read and understand the book.
I rate Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer four out of four stars. The book was explicitly edited; hence, I found no errors. It had many positive aspects and no negative aspects, which made it great. The author presented the information well, which impressed the reader. The tone was conventional, ensuring that readers would find it pleasing. With all these great things about the book deducting a star would be unfair; hence, the rating.
I recommend this book to anyone interested in knowing the best methods to plan ahead and for retirement. It would be helpful since the author discusses methods people can use to plan for retirement and their effect on people who use them. The book contains no profanities ensuring any person can read it.
