The author of the book E. Alan Fleischauer worked as a financial advisor for more than 20 years. He created the concept of Reconfigurement financial planning. The book Reconfigurement is about reconfiguring your life and planning. The author is a professional in this sphere and knows what he is writing. So, reading this book is a precious finding for everyone.

Each chapter of the book Reconfigurement describes an independent theme. It is very convenient because after a one-time reading of the book and getting a general impression: one can refer to this book constantly as a reference book. People live significantly longer now compared with previous centuries, so you have to think about what you will spend your free time and money on in advance. For example, some people like to travel and wait for the retirement age to afford such pleasure. Therefore, you need to decide what countries you plan to visit, what sightseeing to see and how much you plan to spend on it. If you have a spouse, find out your spouse's plans too. Not all people dream of travelling. Sometimes it also happens that a person has talents for some hobby. The retirement age is the time when you can realize your dream. You can finally do what you love.

The book describes the details associated with such concepts as pensions, investing, life insurance and the Social Security program. Although the information is exhaustive, the author recommends not to rely entirely on this book, as the information may become outdated with time, so it will be advisable, despite reading this book, to seek professional advice from financial advisors when making important decisions.

Throughout the book, some jokes make reading the book much more entertaining. As for me, I didn't even think about my retirement age until I read this book. And I want to express my great gratitude to the author of this book for the fact that he changed my attitude toward it.

I've wanted to start working from home for a long time. The author has listed several books regarding working from home. So special respect for him for that.

Despite the small number of pages, it was difficult for me to read this book, as it is as informative as possible and requires careful reading.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars, as this book provides comprehensive information about retirement planning. It has just about everything you need to know. I liked that the book is professionally edited, which is very pleasant for a reader.

The book will be of great interest to those people who want to prepare for retirement. It is better to start planning as early as possible.
