Working hard, saving hard, and investing while you can is a great financial plan, but what happens when you can't do all this anymore? What happens when you retire from work and spend your savings? Will your investment cut it? What if something unexpected, like a decline in health, disability, or even death, happens? What story would your finance tell?
Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer answers all these questions and many more.

This lovely book discusses finance in a way that is so simple yet efficient. The book discussed planning for the future, investing properly, and dealing with crises. Its easy delivery awed me. The author's narration style was entertaining. Reading the book felt like I was talking to an old friend. Using references from several sources, the author equipped the book with several helpful tools readers would find informative. Most people follow the norm, not questioning it until reality shows them something different. Unfortunately, this happens in their finances too. The author gave a solution to this defect in his book.

He gave a financial plan as a unique balance between the norm and reality. Each chapter of the book detailed the steps to this plan in a concise and inspiring way. I loved that there was a straightforward breakdown of each step to achieve maximum results. It pleased me that this book didn't just deal with financial planning. It also dealt with personal development. Personal development to know your personality, understand it and adjust to it. There were a lot of personality test suggestions which I found helpful.

Nothing about the book displeased me. I loved everything about the book. The final chapter was my favourite. I found it soothing and filled with helpful financial resources. The entire book had a comical and emphatic delivery. Finance can be a bore to talk about, but the author made it a fun topic to read. Never have I read a book on finance that simplified the concept as this one did.

I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I gave it a perfect rating because I enjoyed reading the book. Everything about the book impressed me. The book was well-researched and edited. I spotted no errors while reading it. For a book so detailed, it was a quick and easy read. This is a book that one can finish at a go and can be reread countless times.

I recommend this book to American readers. The author wrote this book with them in mind. They would better understand most of the concepts and references in this book. Young adults on the path to financial freedom would find this to be a useful read too. The author equipped this book with enough tools they would find helpful in this journey.

I got sold on the book the moment I saw the line about personal development. I'm not biased towards genre-specific books, but as long as they can provide value to me, I'm always open to reading them. Thanks for the lovely review.

This book has a message that is needed by almost everyone in this day and age. There are many who solely depend on social security and welfare programs which may or may not be around in the future.

Finance is an important topic that needs to be addressed especially amongst adults. I'm glad I found a book that addresses it in a concise way. This is a lovely review by the way.
