Reconfigurement is a non-fiction informative novel written by E. Alan Fleischauer. This book focuses on the importance of planning, working at a job you love, and having lots of fun before you retire. It covers testing for career aptitude, investing, life protection, and affordable health insurance. There are chapters on retirement planning, long-term alternatives, and social security strategies, with a section debunking various social security myths.

This book, Reconfigurement, has a natural flow, and its style of writing is conversational. The anecdotes and stories shared by the author serve to make the content more relatable and entertaining. The author simplifies descriptions of financial concepts and models in a way that is easily understood and offers actionable tips for finding reliable financial advisors and life insurance agents.

Reconfigurement shows that a person or individual can never be too prepared even for retirement. It provides many tips and tricks about income, insurance, and budgeting. He includes lots of funny puns and jokes to make the book more enjoyable. Although, too much of everything is not good.

This book made me understand that retirement is something to think about and that one has to plan for not just oneself but one's family. I know that getting insurance makes life a little less stressful. A person with insurance has backup in cases of emergency, whether health or otherwise. But firstly, an individual must understand the risks and benefits of insurance, and this book gives us an idea of how it works.

I like that the author provided sites one could visit to conduct career aptitude tests, career planning tests, pairing personal assessments, and so on, to better understand oneself and know what career best suits you. Some of these sites were free and fun to use. I like that the author shares his personal experiences, his clients, and even his friends and family's experience, to make us understand the value of getting that insurance.

I like that the author did not advertise himself as a know-it-all, and he is quick to suggest other expert resources. This book is professionally edited. There were minor typographical and grammatical errors and no punctuation errors. Reading this book was quite swift and easy for me. Therefore, I rate this book four out of four stars. Reconfigurement does not only educate but also entertains. I recommend this book to workers and pensioners, and people looking towards retirement, especially individuals who wish to live comfortable and happy lives.
