Review of Reconfigurement
Ever wonder what life will be like after retirement? Do you already have plans in place? Have you considered funding these plans? Do you know how long your budget will last?
There is a comprehensive discussion of all these concepts in the book Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer. As he observed, most people lack knowledge about retirement and how to plan for their retirement funding. In addition, he realized that the material he read over the years analyzed both left and right brain approaches separately. Since research will take years and a lot of funding, the author decided to write a book to effect change. This is to assist people in planning for the future.
At first, I was a bit skeptical about starting the book since these books can be quite boring if they are written incorrectly. In spite of this, the author managed to write the book in a way that seems almost conversational. It is easy to follow along and understand what the author is referring to. There is no doubt that this book will keep your attention. There are also some jokes in the book that help keep the reader engaged and make the book more interesting.
In the book, the author provided practical examples of how to implement the ideas and information he discussed. This is helpful since so often people talk about something, and the concept sounds amazing, but they don't explain how to apply it. By doing this, you felt like the book was more relevant and applicable than if you were reading and you could tell there was a gap in the research or information provided.
Moreover, it was obvious that the author had a great passion for the book and had taken the time to conduct his own research. He demonstrated this by using personal experiences to explain some of the concepts. In this way, the author showed his dedication to the book. When the author is passionate about a book, it's easier to appreciate it and invest time in it.
There can be no other rating than flawless for this book. As a result, I would give it a rating of 4 out of 4. I found the book to be relevant and entertaining to read. I couldn't find anything that I disliked in the book. According to the description, the target audience is people in their 40s. In spite of this, I think this book would be relevant even to people in their 30s, maybe even their 20s. Everybody who wants to start planning for their future will find this information useful. In my opinion, you are never too young to begin. Reading the book was extremely entertaining and informative, and I highly recommend it.
