When you think about marketing, what comes to your mind? For me, marketing encompasses any activity that helps to promote a product or service to improve sales. As simple as it is to define marketing, why does it seem to be so complex for many? Finding the right strategy can be difficult, but what if James I. Bond, not 007, tells you that a simple change can redefine marketing for you and make it as simple as ABC? This question forms the basis of the book, Sell More With A Right-Brain Marketing Strategy, where James I. Bond details fourteen simple elements or strategies that revolve around applying brain glue to improve your powers of persuasion. Pick up a copy of this book to unlock your marketing potential.

I will commence by saying that the author has done a wonderful job of opening my mind to things that I previously never considered. The book focuses on expressive methods that appeal to customers' emotions, fully living up to the inclusion of "a right-brain strategy" in the title, and the author insists that the best way to achieve this is by choosing the right product name and slogan. I liked how the author ensured that he simplified his message throughout the book, even giving us an easy-to-remember acronym, STEAM ATTRACTORS, which encompasses the bulk of his lessons. You will have to read the book to uncover what this helpful acronym means.

Throughout the book, the author favors the approach of citing examples. Readers will be introduced to several instances in real life when companies applied brain glue, from the use of relatable rhyming words that helped in O.J. Simpson's case and the use of alliteration by companies like Tik Tok and Pay Pal to even the fraudulent Elizabeth Holmes, the founder of Theranos healthcare, who employed voice toning to raise almost half a billion dollars. At certain points, it got tiring immersing myself in these numerous examples in the book, but I soon realized that the author strategically included instances from a diverse range of industries. This will ensure that readers can relate and easily apply his methods to their businesses and products through those examples.

Furthermore, I also liked how James I. Bond consistently applied his principle of asking questions to stimulate the reader's mind to think. This was important for me since applying his marketing strategies required some level of creativity. The book is a practical exercise, and his methods are easily accessible and applicable. I can not think of anything I did not like about this guide, and the editors have done a wonderful job since I did not encounter any errors while reading this exceptionally well-edited book.

At the end of Sell More With A Right-Brain Marketing Strategy, I found myself noticing the intent behind product names and slogans and how to improve on them. All things considered, a rating of four out of four stars is well deserved. I would recommend this book to readers who are involved in marketing any product or service; they will greatly benefit from reading this book.

To be sincere, when I saw the book title and author's name, I thought that it was our familiar James Bond that wrote the book. That made me rush to know what 007 had to say about marketing. That not withstanding, I will love to read this book. The knowledge I will gain from it is valuable.

Marketing is such a tough spot for me currently. I have the idea but no knowledge on how to put it down because everything I’ve seen online is complex and overwhelming. If this book simplifies marketing like you’ve said, then it’s a gem to someone like me!

Marketing seems so easy peasy from afar but I’m sure it is not. I appreciate books like this that take a difficult concept that feels out of reach and break it down to simple steps that anyone can understand. I’d like to read this book for myself.
Thanks for the insightful review.
