Reconfigurement is a book on retirement planning that the author calls the plan Reconfigurement. Reconfigurement plan stresses the importance of planning ahead, especially for retirement. It talks about taxes, health insurance, budgeting, and many other things. Thus, this book gives a series of solutions on how to plan ahead for retirement. The author, Fleischauer, also provided a lot of scenarios so that it would be simpler to come up with a retirement plan that is suitable to one’s economic status or current conditions. In general, this book is an informative book regarding the programs and plans that can be implemented to have the perfect retirement.

Moving on, this book has a lot of positive aspects. First of all, this book was an informative book on retirement planning. It was good that the author added a lot of details that are adequate enough without getting too deep into it, but also gave the right amount of information on different technicalities in preparing for retirement. Another positive aspect of this book is that the author inserted bits of jokes in each chapter to make sure the readers would be able to read ahead without getting bored. Lastly, the book was insightful and gave a lot of ideas that could be done to prepare for retirement.

However, there are still some things that can be improved in this book. First, there are still some very minor grammar mistakes and typos. Second, it would be better to place the external references as a footnote so that the format would be much neater. But, overall, the book has more positive aspects compared to negative aspects.

Therefore, taking into account the positive and negative aspects, I would rate this book 4 out of 4. It’s because the book did succeed in fulfilling its purpose, which was to give information on the Reconfigurement plan for retirement. The book also has a lot of information that is insightful and useful to one’s life plan. Also, the negative aspects of the book didn’t hinder the book's process of relaying the information.

Lastly, I would recommend this book to those who are already planning for their retirement. After all, the main theme of this book is retirement, so it would be natural for those who are retiring to read this. Nevertheless, I would also recommend this book to those who are interested in retirement planning and have the motivation to plan ahead for their retirement from a younger age.
