Snatched Up to Heaven! by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul is a book that revolves around faith. It is the account of two little sisters, Deepika and Priyanka, who experience dreams where Jesus shows them Heaven and Hell and allows them to experience both worlds. It is a very spiritual book and it allows the reader to come into contact with faith from the point of view of two children. The book is written by their parents who decide to jot down the sisters’ dreams as they happened. This creates a link between what the two girls experience and the teachings of the Bible.

It is definitely a very peculiar book and should be read with an open mind. What I liked about it is that whatever your beliefs are, this story is going to leave you with a very positive feeling in your chest. You are left with doubts in your mind because what children recount is usually so pure and naïve that it almost feels real. This makes you want to believe that everything they have experienced is true. Furthermore, the way the book is written is so uncommon and engrossing that it makes you want to keep reading without stopping.

On the other hand, the problem with these kinds of books is that such delicate topics could easily lead to offending someone in some way. Thankfully, the authors don’t fall into this trap and they do an excellent job in delivering their idea of spirituality. This made this book an almost perfect one. I can’t find anything negative to say about it.

I rate this book 4 out 4 stars because it is a very informative book if you want to learn more about religion. Additionally, it teaches religion without really teaching it and I think that’s the best part of it. The details in the descriptions prove that this book required a lot of research to be written. Moreover, this book is certainly professionally edited. I couldn’t find any kind of grammatical errors in it. Both authors did a great job in representing the perspective of Deepika and Priyanka, as I imagine it must be a very difficult thing to do.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about the spiritual world and wants to get closer to God. I would also recommend it to parents who want to introduce their children to religion. This is a great book to start that journey, especially because it recounts the story of two children.
