Review of Seeking... Finding... Healing...
In her book Seeking... Finding... Healing, Becky Lu Jackson gives us the best advice on how to find peace and design the best lifestyle for us. When she discovered this fantastic healing method, she was 32 years old and in the midst of overcoming her addiction to eating, alcohol, and drugs. Her new existence began as a result of a movie she watched. She had come to understand that her past had had a significant detrimental impact on who she was. She started a journey that required bravery and determination in order to help herself recover from past trauma. She embraces the idea of an inner family on her journey. These were important ideas in her life on the spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, and romantic levels. Along with bringing her younger self from different ages, she worked to create bonds with them and listened to their grievances. Because of this, she was able to identify and resolve the main issues. From Becky's perspective, the inner family concept is highly enlightening on how to adopt it, from its inception to its completion and fruition. She places a lot of emphasis on practices like writing, meditation, and visualization, which are essential when attempting to understand the inner family notion. Future selves are included in the inner family healing idea in addition to younger selves.
One of the more educational books I've read was this one. There are brand-new techniques for recovering from prior trauma that we hardly ever hear from therapists. The author did a fantastic job of addressing healing. While reading about the inner family notion, a helpful treatment, I was quite interested and involved. The fact that she was so relatable was wonderful. She was speaking about the daily hardships that people face in their lives. The progression from laying the groundwork, through meditation, journaling, and meditating, was so thorough. I appreciate that she added journaling as a step since I have done it and it was successful. She discussed everything that I thought was useful.
Nothing in this book bothered me. Everything she mentioned was undoubtedly not something that individuals often discuss as they work to recover from their previous traumas. Her sharing of personal experiences as well as those of individuals she had interacted with was fantastic; it made everything seem plausible.
I give this book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. The absence of mistakes and errors led me to believe that the book was professionally edited.
I recommend this book to readers who are trying to heal themselves by discovering, getting to know, caring for, and communicating with their inner family. The author has also crafted a healing connection with a focus on spiritualism, God, and supernatural forces.
