Review of Reconfigurement
Reconfigurement is a book authored by E. Alan Fleischauer that facilitates planning before retirement. The average retirement age in the United States is 65, and most people may not be able to save enough money to cover their bills when they retire, either because of a low income or because they do not see retirement planning as a necessity, which may result in a lack of funds after retirement. According to the author, after the last two decades, observations show that Americans are living longer now. About 30 years have been added to the average American life span. This is why good investment plans should be put in place to truly meet the needs of aging Americans.
Reconfigurement planning can help one work towards earning a living all their life because it explores strategic patterns that can be used to help interested people secure a good financial plan, such as income protection, disability insurance policies in case of any issues with disabilities in the future, assessments that reveal work strengths and one's level of creativity, and can help you find out if you really fit into your current job. It also helps in self-development, career reconfiguration, and investment plans like defined benefit plans that provide guaranteed income for retired employees and affordable health insurance policies that cover health care bills when the need arises. Old age comes with different challenges. As people live longer, they may also incur medical costs along the way. The ability to earn a living over your entire life span is your greatest asset. You can learn more about reconfigurement planning by reading this book.
There is nothing wrong with this book. I love the book and I love the writer's pattern of relating to his readers. It made reading the book easier for me. It's an interesting book with lots of lessons to learn. It has the ability to broaden your knowledge of planning ahead.
I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars because I couldn't really find many errors, just about two, and I can't rate the book 2 out of 4 stars because it's interesting and has what it takes to guide anyone who desires to plan not just for retirement but a good life after retirement.
The book, Reconfigurement, gives every reader an opportunity to plan ahead of retirement as a salary earner and also save for the future irrespective of income. I recommend readers who want to do reconfigurement planning to read this book since the book is not just about planning ahead, but it also gives guidelines on how to reconfigure every stage of your life.
