Review of Reconfigurement
Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is an exciting book that emphasizes the need to plan. Planning is a necessary step that should be embraced by everyone. Alan is a financial advisor with vast experience in the industry. He addresses important concerns such as career choices, health insurance, long-term care, employee benefits, retirement plans, and social security. Reconfigurement does not only help one to self-evaluate, but also discover oneself. The assessments provided in the book such as the career aptitude assessments will help the readers to find a career that they love and also earn from it. With generally longer lifespans now, Alan helps the readers to develop concrete strategies in preparation for retirement. With extensive experience in the financial advisory sector, the author provides the reader with specific guidelines and brilliant financial strategies to develop retirement plans. The author also goes ahead to provide a discussion on long-term investments like mutual funds and government bonds which will be useful to the readers.
I loved reading the book from start to end. I liked how precise and straightforward the author is. His vast knowledge and many years of experience in the finance industry made the book so informative. I loved how the book was well organized in chapters, which made it easy to comprehend. His writing skills are so good that it is as if he is in a one-on-one conversation with the reader. He uses simple terms to explain the merits and demerits of the options of investment, social security, employee benefits, retirement, and life protection. I loved the author’s sense of humor and the occasional use of anecdotes made the book more interesting. I deeply loved his in-depth research, timely knowledge, and explanations that were backed up with facts, figures, and statistics. The references and websites provided in the book were also helpful. The book was not only educational but also fascinating. Moreover, I loved the book’s alluring pros, eloquent writing skills, and prolific vocabulary.
I disliked nothing about this book. I enjoyed every bit of it from start to end. The book is straightforward and can be understood by anyone.
I did not find any typos or grammar errors, as the book was well-written and exceptionally edited.
I am glad to rate this book 4 out of 4 stars, as it is educational, motivational, informative, and challenging. Reconfigurement will help the readers to self-evaluate and discover their career path. It also provides them with solid guidelines and strategies to put in place while planning for retirement.
