Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is an intriguing non-fiction self-help book that contains a wealth of information on a variety of topics. It deals with financial, health, and cognitive preparation for life on earth and after retirement.

This book is written as a guide that many can follow and be successful and content. After giving the necessary preliminary information in the first chapter, it then gives information about income in the next chapter. Here, income is written in relation to the role it plays in both the life of a worker and a retiree. Information on social security is also discussed. Other things are discussed in the following chapters before health and financial plans are discussed. The roles they play in people's lives as workers and as retirees are also talked about. Most importantly, at the end of the book are suggestions on things to do after retirement, which is also as important as planning for life and retirement.

I like this book because what was written was done in a step-by-step manner. The book did not just arrange information haphazardly or jump from more complex details to simpler details. The author wrote the book to start with important things, and not only important but the first things to do before engaging in other things. This book had elements of humor, so it was fun to read. It contains all the necessary steps to take to live a healthy and comfortable life without worrying about unplanned expenses or events that could be detrimental to the future of a person’s health or finances.
This book serves as a calendar and timetable for people who wish to plan out their lives well up to retirement. The only thing I did not like was that it was written from a professional standpoint. I mean that the book is meant for people who are not professionals in the field of economics, so the book should be written more in a descriptive and narrative way. However, this book mentioned professional phrases and events straight up without a more simplified descriptive and narrative touch to them.

Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer was professionally edited. I saw only two errors when reading it. I am rating it 4 out of 4 stars. The way the book gave out its information chronologically and also in order of importance was exemplary. I recommend this self-help book to middle-aged workers planning to retire and young workers planning to be successful to the point of retirement.
