First of all, what is reconfiguring? Reconfigure means to arrange or put something in a different or new way.

Reconfiguremen by E. Alan Fleischauer tells readers how to arrange their life in a new way. It talked about financial planning, getting a job, doing your best at it, budgeting, investing, and planning for retirement. A lot of people have not thought about how retirement will be for them, and I think that is the reason we have a lot of retired people still finding it hard to do essential things. The book also talks about doing a job you love and having fun while doing it. A lot of people don't have fun doing their jobs because they can't get the job they love and they need to put food on the table. In this generation, I think topics like this should be talked about often to help youth know the importance of planning.

This book didn't just teach me how to plan for my retirement; I learned that investing as a young person is something you will enjoy for a lifetime. I also learned that you don't have to be doing your dream job to be happy. A lot of people end up not doing what they had planned. So go and create your happiness in any environment. Life is too darn short to be unhappy. I love the writing style. I love the word composure. Genuine writers like Alan are very hard to find, but since I have seen one, I will follow up on all his books. Financial planning is a topic that can never be over-emphasized. As a human being that needs money to do almost everything, you should plan how to spend it and what to spend it on. Enjoying your money is good, but what will you be left with when you retire, or will you go from hand to mouth? This is a question everyone should ask themselves.

I love the fact that the author cracked some jokes even while stating important facts. A lot of people might see it as unprofessional, but I think it's his way of engaging his audience. There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this book. I found a few errors, but that didn't stop me from enjoying it. After spending my night on this, I can boldly say it was worth it. I see planning from a different perspective now. As a young woman, I'm grateful I crossed paths with this book at this stage now, and I know it's not too late for anyone that seeks financial planning advice.

I give this book 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend it to every young adult and those that want to start a retirement plan.
