Review of Idiom Attack Vol. 1 Everyday Living (Sim. Chinese Edition)
Idiom Attack Vol. 1 Everyday Living (Sim. Chinese Edition) is a study aid for language learners who intend to decode the hidden knowledge encoded in English idioms. The book's author, Peter Liptak, has career experience in education and teaching the English language, as shown in the book's structure. The book's content does not just entail the types of idioms with what they mean, but a thorough descriptive method that shows examples of how and when to use them and scenarios that give the correct assimilation of its contents. This book volume is devoted to idioms commonly used in everyday conversations, which I found to be very useful for beginners who intend to master and improve their communication in English.
I like this book because it is suitable for every student who intends to level up their knowledge of English. This book volume consists of 300 North American idioms, divided into 25 thematic chapters, which include; family matters, social invitations, dating, human interactions, and other thematic units, and are explicitly described and used in everyday conversations to better help in understanding them.
The book's positive aspects are that; it is available in different language editions, such as Chinese, German, Japanese, Spanish, etc., and professionally translated. I read the Chinese edition, which was tremendously on point. I firmly believe other editions would be captivating as well. The book is written accurately and has a detailed explanation of each idiom, making it easy for students to get the information passed by the authors. The book has no typographical or grammatical errors, and it doesn't contain any profane or vulgar words, which makes it suitable for all religions. This book can even be used as a lesson manual in elementary schools, as the words chosen by the authors are simple and easy to comprehend.
There isn't anything to dislike about this book. Hence, no negative aspect to point out in this book. The author deserves to be celebrated.
This book is fantastic, written accurately, excellently edited, well-structured and organized, simple, and easy to understand. Newbies may not even need help from teachers when reading or studying this book. That's how great this book is, and given these facts, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.
I highly recommend the book Idiom Attack Vol. 1 Everyday Living (Sim. Chinese Edition) for students who have the goal of conquering English and conquering idioms. This book is a great and powerful manual for beginners who want to beat the difficulty in understanding English idioms. It will help English and Chinese readers and speakers who want to learn and will undoubtedly teach them a lot.
