We live in a world where people work to get paid and acquire a reputable standard of living, but what happens when you get to the age of retirement? What plans do you have ahead of retirement? Are you tired of your current job, and you want to quit? What plans do you have for the new life you may find yourself in? Why is Reconfigurement the right title for this book? Would you like to read more? Then read Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer.

Goals are necessary and required to be put in place because a time will come when one’s life will need to be reconstructed, either voluntarily or involuntarily. As far as income is important and dependent on a career, one may need to pursue multiple careers, which will require a rigid plan with direction. After retirement, a pension is not reliable because there is a possibility of the former employer going bankrupt or rather encountering unforeseen circumstances. Most people don’t get to plan for retirement until they are almost retiring and getting old.

For an average adult, saving for retirement should be included in the plan, E. Alan Fleischauer made enough research findings and gave adequate instances in the book titled “Reconfigurement”. People's reaction to retirement varies, as it makes some people sad and depressed. What happens after retirement? While changing a career, one needs to conduct research about the intended career by asking questions from people in the field of work, as this is a good way to learn whether the career is right for you or not. In chapter three, Fleischauer recommended a particular website to see careers and job titles that match one’s specific career type.

Earning a good income should not be basically for flaunts, but rather saving for the future. Fleischauer understands what most retirees go through and decided to write Reconfigurement. A person needs to enjoy his/her job, and live the best life, but should not forget about the future which he/she knows nothing about.

The information in this book is important, and it requires a moderate state of understanding, in applying the information given by the author. I enjoyed reading the book. The author did an impressive job of encouraging one to live by budget, to plan financially. A good financial plan will save one in times of need or rather unforeseen circumstances. The book encourages health insurance, likewise disability policy. The author gave some interesting and applauding sentences at the beginning and end of each chapter which will motivate a reader to go for the next chapter.

I value the font and spacing format used in the book. I believe a good font is always the best choice for most people. Furthermore, I found nothing to dislike about the book. Likewise, I am convinced that the book was professionally edited. Not only that, but I found no errors in the text. The contents are pleasant and positive.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I enjoyed every single chapter. It is not too lengthy for readers. I strongly recommend this book to young adults, parents, children, and even the retired elders because a retirement plan is very necessary.
