Review of Reconfigurement
It is a truism that he who fails to plan, plans to fail in life. One major thing common to every human being is change, whether you are working for someone else or for yourself. You must sooner or later embrace the reality of the change that comes with retirement. The book Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer educates and reorients its readers on financial planning for retirement
The writer systematically identifies and corrects readers' mindsets toward financial planning. Since planning for retirement becomes a matter of necessity whether you are a boss or an employee, the writer makes a list of some retirement strategies and activities that include gainful employment, investment choice, affordable health insurance, budgeting, will-writing, gifting, etc., as well as some major secrets of financial planning and career assessment. Are you afraid of your future or don't even have an idea of how to plan for your retirement? Then, this book is for you.
There are many positive aspects to this book. The writer has challenged and changed the mindset I have developed from my childhood toward retirement through his information and education on how complicated life usually looks after retirement, especially when one doesn't plan early enough. Another thing I liked about this book was that since one of the most important assets for every individual is the ability to earn income, it provided the reader with information about other important and relevant means to raise money when one's stream of income suddenly stopped.
It also shared knowledge with practical examples, quotations, questions, illustrations, and figures using other people's life experiences to explain his point, making it easy for readers to comprehend. Additionally, I enjoyed the fact that the writer included a series of careers and websites where career choices can be found, as well as necessary guidelines for choosing a better career. He also suggested the proper age for everybody, irrespective of stage or job, to initiate the idea of retirement.
There was nothing I disliked about this book. It was full of beneficial information relevant to career planning and retirement. Also, I did not observe any grammar or typographical errors, which means this book was exceptionally edited. Given these, I rate Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer 4 out of 4 stars. The reason for my rating was the positive aspect mentioned above. I recommend this book to people who need an idea about financial planning for retirement or those who want to have an enjoyable career.
