Review of Reconfigurement
As people get older, it is in their best interest to have a retirement plan. This is what Fleischauer calls reconfigurement. He advises on planning ahead of retirement. Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a nonfiction book on financial management and living a fulfilled life. It paves the way for understanding the benefits of budgeting, saving, investment, and insurance.
My favorite quality about the writing is the cheerful tone used. Throughout the writing, the author uses a first-person voice. The attitude is conversational and friendly. The reader is involved through jokes as well as phrases such as 'Guess what?'. From chapter to chapter, reading felt like conversing with the author. Straightforward language has been used. By selecting adequate words, difficult concepts were broken down into comprehensible bits. I like that the book is practical. It gives a list of sites to self-test and applicable software tools for budget allocation.
This is one of the best nonfiction books that has ever been penned. It was focused on retiring people, but I find it contains a wealth of knowledge for a wide range of people. College students can borrow the approach used in the book to present their arguments and dissertations. Motivational speakers and public speakers will identify with the inclusive voice used in the book.
From my point of view, this book is like a poem. It has few pages, yet is rewarding in many ways. First, it is a book about financial management and investment. On another layer, it is a seminar full of comical punchlines that lifts the spirits, and one can't help smiling through the pages. I daresay that this book could pass as an instructive manual for authors on how to pass their message without dragging and boring readers. Apart from that, financial managers can gather a lot of insights into available investment plans in America.
The book has absolutely nothing that I didn't like. It is a rare book of its kind. It was precisely written with as much education as entertainment.
I rate Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer 4 out of 4 stars. No other rating would be justifiable in my case. It was a delight to read the book. The book contains advice, knowledge, a dose of laughter, and a self-development personality. The editing and proofreading are outstanding.
I recommend it to every working person. It is about planning ahead of things; therefore, if read early, then better decisions will be made in the long term. This writing will be beneficial in dealing with finances. Reading this book may give you the courage to change your career to what you have always wanted.
