Reconfigurement is a book that gives an in-depth explanation of the need to plan one's life ahead of time. It talks about life before retirement and after retirement. Things you need to put in place in preparation for retirement and the need to do a job you care about instead of wasting your time on a job you hate but doing it for the paycheck. It also broadens one's knowledge of the importance, pros, and cons of career testing, investing, budgeting, insurance, and retirement plans such as; 401 (k)s and IRAs.

E. Alan Fleischauer's Reconfigurement is a great book that teaches you to plan. It is a book for career testing and career path selection. I admired the author's sense of humor and the friendly tone in which the book was written. Examples can be seen in how E. Alan Fleischauer made sure to add jokes to every chapter of the book.

I also liked how he made out time to give a vivid explanation on every topic in the book, together with the charts he added for better clarification. I must admit that Reconfigurement was written with the interest of the readers in mind because of the series of links and references he added to the book for further studies on the path of the reader.

Apart from a few errors here and there in the book, I must say the book was just so perfect and there was nothing I disliked about it. The rhetorical questions he added gave me a minute to reflect on myself while trying to answer the questions to myself and also gave me a reason to see the need to plan. It made me imagine myself in the worse case scenarios and thought of what would become of me should I fail to plan myself before the next ten to twenty years.

I, therefore, rate E. Alan Fleischauer's Reconfigurement four out of four stars because of the author's zeal in making sure the readers have a clear understanding of what he was trying to portray. His vivid explanation of the history, origin, importance, pros, cons, and examples of every topic in the book was impeccable.

I recommend this book for adults between the ages of forty to fifty and to young adults who wouldn't want to see themselves regretting not planning. I also recommend it to people who are considering retiring early due to one reason or the other. Reconfigurement is just the perfect book to lead you on the right path and ensure that you live a life of fulfillment.
