Many people work for numerous years without actually thinking about their finances or life after retirement. After retirement, it begins to dawn on them that they made little or no preparations towards it.

Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a book that focuses on finances, investments, insurance, retirement plans and many more. It enlightens its readers about how life can be after retirement and how to plan adequately for it, giving several options and suggestions. He went ahead to also give some bits of advice on crisis management and many more.

This book contains a lot of information that delivers value to its readers. I loved how the author took time to explain each chapter concisely and comprehensively. The author did an incredible job by inputting some jokes, which made the book interesting to read. The tone of the author and how he addresses his readers are impressive. I found it more relaxing to read this book; it felt like I was having a discussion with the author. I appreciate the author's effort in putting up lots of information with references, which made the book more detailed and informational.

Not only did the author dwell on retirement plans, but he also talked about finances, careers, investments, personality tests and more. A remarkable thing I observed in the book was the provision of links to the assessment tests. I loved how he used illustrations and examples to buttress his points. He also used practical examples by relating some of his teachings to his life experiences, which made them more realistic. I was awed at the manner in which he explained finance and simplified it.

The only thing I didn't enjoy about this book was that it focused primarily on the American setting. I believe Americans will appreciate this book more. Asides this, I enjoyed reading the book.

This book is enlightening and interesting. It was exceptionally well edited and proofread. I found no errors while reading it. Every page of it was worth reading. I would rate this book four out of four stars.

I would recommend this book to American workers. This is because most of the information contained in this book is more peculiar to them. A non-American may have problems understanding some terms or information in the book. People having difficulties with finance management and who will like to know more about investments will find this book a good read. This will give them better knowledge and foresight of how finances can be planned and managed before retirement.

This is a well-detailed and entertaining review. I agree with the points you mentioned about the book's charms. The author's narration style was engaging and the book was interesting to glide through. The author did a wonderful job of passing his message. The lack of inclusivity was displeasing, but it's understandable. I love this review. Well done.
