Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is an informative non-fiction novel about financial health and planning for the future at any stage of your life. It addresses topics such as affordable health insurance, disability insurance, personal financial planning, investments, career assessments, retirement and much more. It encouraged you to look ahead and prepare for your future if you want to relax and retire comfortably.

What I really loved about the book was the sound advice given and how motivating it was to plan for retirement. Author E. Alan Fleischauer is authentic; as I read, I felt as though I knew him. He has very good insights and has shared some good philosophies. His life-lesson stories throughout the book inspired me as I read. I also appreciated that he uses humour throughout the book; his unique writing style kept my eyes awake as I read about financial planning. The book wasn’t long and boring; it was very easy to read and understand as he broke down the topics in the chapters with the aid of subtitles. Since the aging population is growing, this is a very helpful book with a lot of food for thought and useful statistical inclusions. I also love the inclusion of the Winston Churchill quote and the credits he gave to those who helped make his book possible. As I read, I must admit that I have revisited myself and made an assessment to see if I am on the right path as I plan for my retirement.

I didn’t find anything that I didn’t like about this book. The cover was perfect for the theme. The author is well educated on the financial topics discussed, and he also did a lot of research and put many thoughts into writing this book. Financial books can be tedious at times, but once I start reading this book, it never fails to captivate me. I loved every moment, from his well-written acknowledgements, the funny stories, the financial subjects, to his conclusion. I didn’t snore one bit while reading. I gained a better understanding of the different financial instruments on the market. Most importantly, I realized that no matter what stage of life I am at, I can reconfigure my life and plan for my retirement.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars . I cannot stress enough how interesting this book is to read. I could relate to this book; it was also a good refresher for me. The book was well edited, and the chapters provide guidance. I’m quite sure that readers would be pleased while reading as well. Excellent job! I look forward to reading more books by the author, E. Alan Fleischauer.

I would recommend this book to working adults of any age group who seek guidance and want to become financially equipped with the right investment options and how to plan ahead for their retirement. It is fun, captivating and very interesting; you will enjoy reading it.
